TAKUT KE TAK 🫵🫣👻

Last sunny day, I watched a fascinating Malay language horror comedy film produced by Jazzy Pictures. The film was originally scheduled to be released on April 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. After facing some struggles, this film was released on 27th August 2020 and directed by Muzzamer Rahman. THe cast is Nabil Aqil as Abbas, Fabian Loo as Yang Guo, Ika Nabila as Linda, while Arvind Kumar played as Sivar and Amir played by Han Zalini.

The film starts with five film students team up to complete their most challenging final year project together. Tired of cliches in almost all horror films, they decided to shoot someth5ing new and tried to not use cheap jumpscares. But their plan to shoot a film in a haunted house turns into a a nightmare, after they beginn to feel like they are in an actual horror movie beacuse the same horror film cliche happen to them. They can't find an exit there too. There is  scene where they think that the cliches are actually pre planned by humans. But it was something else !

My favourite character in this film was Sivar. Although the film potrayed Abbas as the main character, in my perspective Sivar stol;e everyone's heart with his extraordinary acting skills ad amusing charcter.  Sivar is a loyal friend who sacrificed his life to save his friends from the danger. I learned that good friends are vitally important to mature as a human being and to live and love our live. Besides, Sivar is the bravest guy when it comes to help his friends fro the danger.

I personally enjoyed the movie beacause of the imppressive storyline and the characters especially Sivar. The film was engrossing after it was released on Netflix. The setup of the hauted house was realistic and creepy. I am mesmerised by the intelligence of the local director to direct this type of movie. Although I was not satisfied with the climax, it was fun to watch with my fellow friends.

I would recommed this movie to other viewers for its comedy and for its positive attributes. Though the climax may be the lack of viewers expectation, this movie is somehow worth watching for its amazing characterisation and comedy.
